The Village of Lomira is currently taking applications for a crossing guard. Applicants will need to work on all days school is in session, unless other arrangements are made. Applicants must be available before school (7:00-8:00 a.m.) and after school (3:00-4:00 p.m.). DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS LABORER
The Village of Lomira (pop. 2,510) is accepting resumes for the position of Public Works Laborer. This full-time position involves a wide variety of tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of public facilities in the Village including streets, sanitation, parks, water supply and wastewater. Other responsibilities include plowing snow, operating and maintaining various pumps, motors and equipment, road and utility maintenance, mowing, brush chipping and yard waste collection. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and be able to work in a collaborative environment with a positive attitude. Applicant must have a minimum Class B CDL. General working hours are 7:30am to 4pm M-F with night, weekend, holiday and on-call rotation as required.
